三，在感叹句中，what和how都是“多么”的意思。选择感叹词的时候，要看主语的左边有没有“名词”如果有“名词”，就选择what（what, what a, what an）。如果主语左边没有名词，就选择how。

因为is是动词，所以he是主语。主语左边有boy（名词），所以，必须选what, 又因为boy是可数名词单数，所以用what a

主语是the boy，左边是形容词good, 当然选择How

＿exciting news!

如果句子中没有看到动词，就说明已经省略了主语和谓语。它们是同时省略的。这时候，我们就在句子后面把主语谓语加出来。根据上下文这里可以加上it is。

＿exciting news it is!

it是主语，左边是news（名词）所以，选择what形式。因为news是不可数名词，所以不用冠词，选What。

What exciting news!多么好的消息啊!

四，＿good time they had!

主语是they, 左边是time（名词），选what形式。这里time虽然是不可数名词，但是，这里是固定词组 have a good time玩得愉快。本身就有一个a。选择What a

What a good time they had!他们玩得多么愉快啊!

五，注意结构 how 形容词 a?单数名词

How good a girl she is!她是多么好的女孩啊!
How big a hotel it is!多么大的宾馆啊!
How difficult a problem they have solved!他们解决了多么难的一个问题啊!
How heavy a box they are carrying! 他们正在搬运一个多么重的箱子啊!

总结:

看主语左边是否有名词。
注意省略形式。
注意不可数名词。
注意“how 形容词 a”
